Cooling is where the daytime power goes, which makes it the load solar covers best. Both peak at the same hour. If your bill is dominated by air-conditioning, ask what a rooftop system would do to it. The survey is free either way, and we’re already there.
Common questions
How often should an AC be serviced?
Twice a year for a unit in regular use, and before the summer at minimum. In coastal Kerala, salt in the air is hard on outdoor units, so more frequent condenser cleaning is worth it.
A unit that’s never serviced doesn’t usually fail dramatically. It just quietly costs you more every month.
My AC cools less than it used to. Gas leak?
Possibly, but check the cheap causes first. Blocked filters and a dirty condenser account for a large share of the complaints we attend.
If gas is genuinely low, it leaked out. Topping up without finding the leak means paying for gas twice, so we look for the leak.
