Panels last 25 years. The roof under them should last 30.

Bolting modules to a roof that won’t outlive them is the most expensive mistake in this industry, and it’s usually made to save a little at quotation stage.

We warrant our own solar installations, which means we carry the cost when a roof under our panels fails. That’s why we’re strict about specifying it properly, and why we’ll tell you to replace a tired roof before the panels go on rather than after.

Doing both? Sequence them properly.

Removing and refitting an array is a real cost you can avoid entirely by getting the order right. Ask us and we’ll tell you which case you’re in.
